Negligence -- display of merchandise by storekeeper -- injury to child -- proximate cause of injury. Defendant department store had on display several cedar chests, on some of which the covers were open. A seven-year old child, in company with his parents, who had come to view a Christmas display in another part of the store, was injured when the top of one of these cedar chests fell upon his hand as he was playing. Held there was no liability because there was no reasonable ground for the defendant to anticipate that the display of the cedar chests in this manner would or might result in injury to anybody.
